Gratitude

I am grateful for this bed I am in

I am grateful for these blankets I am under

I am grateful for the heat that is running through this house keeping me warm

I am grateful for the coffee in my cup

I am grateful for the silence that surrounds me

I am grateful for the cold wind, the grey sky, and the tall trees outside my window

I am grateful for this day
